Recently, I purchased some Schaller guitar strap locks. Previously I’d had two problems with my guitar and it’s strap. Firstly, the strap itself would often slide off while I was playing, which could prove both potentially harmful for the guitar as well as be embarrassing if it happened on stage. Secondly, because the guitar I was using at the time was cheaper and older, the screws that the strap attached to actually would come out occasionally. Because of these two problems, I bought silver Schaller strap locks.
The Schaller guitar strap locks are very easy to install. You simply unscrew your existing screws and re-insert them into the hole. You then apply the buttons to the strap themselves by inserting the button and washer around each end of your guitar strap. When ready to play, you can then attach each end of the strap to the correct end of the guitar. They should click and lock into place. It’s very simple and very easy to install.
Ideally, you can now move as much as you want with your guitar without the fear of dropping it or having it fall off of it’s straps. The Schaller guitar strap locks not only work well, but they look good as well. If you’re interested in buying them, I suggest you buy them online.
